1. Have you tried a different handset (preferably a wired handset).
2. Is the line crackling.
3. Can you call into the number from a mobile phone and does your handset ring.
4. When you dial in to your number from a mobile phone is it engaged.
5. Are you heard by the other party or can you hear them.
