I got a phone call from Pop and as i wanted to leave BT Infinity because of the price, i signed up to them. I've had no problems with them, billing or otherwise. Going from 60mb street fibre to old fashioned broadband at about 10mb has had it's problems like download speed and the odd dead air but nothing serious. I did find the micro filter had gone faulty but that was down the the equipment manufacturer, Technicolor (formerly Thompson).The router is easy to interrogate and gives lots of info."
"Returning to POP after being fleeced at BT
I return to POP after a very disappointing and costly contract with BT. I previously used POP on the value Broadband and Anytime Calls Package, and at the time I thought it was just satisfactory, we only left them when the exchange point was due for maintenance and we heard that BT had no down time, that’s why I made the dreaded switch. Now I’m back with POP on the standard £18.99 package which is reliable and giving us the rated speeds - we did have a small problem with the TP Link Router they sent but after a quick phone call we got up and running in no time."

Having joined Pop Telecom some 2 mths ago I was rather put off with the negative reviews which i read after joining. My second monthly payment did include extra payments such as Router Assurance and another Assurance which i obviously hadnt agreed to but on ringing them i was informed I shouldnt have been charged at all for one of the items and the other was optional to which i said no thank you and too their credit the items were taken off the account there and then and having just received my third month account I see i am being charged the correct £22-99 for which I signed up for so cannot agree with the bad press re customer service also I was having problems with getting conected to the internet due to BT engineers working in the area so I contacted Pop Technical Support and was given good advice and told to contact them again when the engineers had finished which i did as my speed was very slow and I asked to speak to the person who dealt with me first time namely David who was busy with another client but was told he would ring me in a few minutes which he did and I could not have had more pleasant and patient person who spent at least 15 min with me until he eventually got my speed up to scratch so again I cannot fault any aspect of Pop Telecom and I would say to anyone thinking of joining go for it I am happy I did"

This companies only flaw is was the length of time between the transition from Virgin to pop. I had to wait for Openreach to change the line. I was told this is down to BT not them.... So apart from this hiccup.... everything has been fine 8 months in now"

I’ve tried a couple of ISP over the years but they were all lacking one thing. Performance. Pop Telecom performs on all aspects of performance. Customer service, professionalism, communication skills, and service quality. I’ve had questions regarding my billing schedule, service speed, and discounts/promotions they may be running and I’ve always received honest answers. This proves to me that they are customer service oriented and will go out of their way to remedy any shred of doubt their customers may have. I can honestly say that they are the best ISP’s I’ve had. I’ve been with them for 3 years now and I don’t see myself going anywhere anytime soon! Thanks for the incredible service!"

I came to Pop Telecom from EE because the cost was halved. It was a tremendous saving and I would have to be mad to pass it up. I was suspicious about why there was such a discount. What sacrifices Pop Telecom would of made ! There was a fault which was preventing my broadband and telephone service. I rang and to my great surprise they had an excellent customer service. They couldn't be more nicer. Nothing was a bother. They identified the fault and booked up Open Reach to fix it. A day or two later the Open Reach engineer fixed the fault and came to my door to inform me it was fixed. I couldn't ask for a better service. I have read all the comments and reviews about Pop telecom and with the exception of a few the majority were/are negative, misleading. They never disclosed the positives and because of this they were very unbalanced. I can and will recommend Pop Telecom because of my positive experience and ongoing support I receive every time I ring them for help."
